My Story

My journey into photography did not follow the conventional path. I was not handed a camera as a child, nor did I grow up in a family with an interest in photography. My passion for capturing moments began with a simple love for reliving memories. I would often revisit these captured moments multiple times a day, finding joy and meaning in each one.

During my junior year of college(Hotty Toddy), I discovered the Dispo app, which became the start in my photographic journey. The unique feature of Dispo, where photos taken could not be viewed until 9 am the next day, introduced an element of anticipation and surprise. This experience of waking up to new memories every morning resonated deeply with me and shaped my approach to photography.

To me, film photography is about storytelling. Each film photo narrates its own story, inviting viewers to derive their own interpretations. This philosophy underpins my work as a photographer, where every shot is an opportunity to capture and convey a unique narrative.
